The best way to
begin the search for your new property is to visit with a
mortgage professional. With a quick phone call and a few
questions they will be able to estimate the mortgage amount for
which you qualify. They can explain all of your mortgage options
including no or low down payment programs, adjustable rate
mortgage (ARM) programs and no documentation or low
documentation programs.
After you have
met with a mortgage professional you will be given a
pre-qualification or pre-approval letter. Including this letter
with your offer on a property greatly increases your chances of
having your offer accepted by the seller.
There are many
mortgage professionals out there. Choosing the right one is a
critical step in the home buying process. Some mortgage
professionals are brokers and can offer you mortgage programs
from many different lenders and investors. Others are employed
directly by an individual bank. Either way, it’s important to
take the time to interview each mortgage professional and to
understand the programs they offer and the costs associated with
the mortgage.
I would be
happy to explain this process in greater detail as it relates to
your personal needs. I can even provide you with the names of a
few mortgage professionals so that you can get the process
started. I have also provided some interesting mortgage/credit
articles for your reading pleasure. Thank you and I look
forward to working with you on your real estate purchase. |
