While walking down Magnolia Street in
historic Larkspur, one can enjoy many of the beautiful
buildings from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Such
buildings include the Public Library, City Hall and the Fire
Station all built in the Mission Revival style of
architecture. Magnolia Avenue was the original thoroughfare
for Southern Marin and this downtown area is designated as a
State and City Historic District listed on the National
Register of Historic Places.
Today, Larkspur is a prosperous city that
shares a healthy outside lifestyle with the rest of Marin
County.
